"CHEMICALS" – SINGLE RELEASE August 21, 2026

"Chemicals" is a dark electronic track, a stigma-breaking anthem of survival. The cinematic, emotionally raw song is built around surviving without apology. Opening in restraint, "Chemicals" builds from layered texture into a synth driven rhythm section. That structure gives electronic pop-art artist KOTA! room for her most confident vocal performance to date.

Co-written and produced by Matt Attard (BTS Jin’s Happy & Echo ep’s), "Chemicals" is the second release in a five-song collaboration between Attard and KOTA, pairing detailed electronic sound design with contemporary alternative pop songwriting.

PRE-RELEASE MOMENTUM:

Chosen by EDM.com for an upcoming Fresh Picks Friday feature; selection to a coveted Groover Obsessions playlist (certified Deezer and Spotify curator); plus international college radio play.

"Everything is chemicals. After a lifetime of chronic illness and the long list of medications and treatments that came with it, I wanted to write a song that helps break the stigma around needing them," KOTA! says. "We all need chemicals in some form -- and my hope is to take away some of the reluctance around the ones that are truly vital."

"MORE" – Single Release June 23, 2026

"MORE" is a bold "I want more... or bye" pop dance empowerment anthem for 2026 about demanding “more” from love and life. On the track, KOTA! sounds like the featured artist on her own song — moving from chill quirky rap verses into a confident sung chorus, and powerful self-worth bridge: “It’s not that I don’t love you, I just put myself above you… it’s time to leave.”

Part relationship wake-up call, part celebration of choosing yourself, this sexy, danceable track delivers playful attitude along with real emotional depth. Co-written and produced by Matt Attard (BTS Jin’s Happy & Echo ep’s), "MORE" is the ultimate “Shape Up or I’m Shipping Out” respect-yourself song for anyone done settling.

Pre-Release Momentum:

Selected for a Groover Obsessions playlist (Certified Spotify + Deezer curator, Audiomack Tastemaker) and charting at #11 on Groover’s Pop/Synth Charts — before its official release.
